a Catholic saint-in-training's musings on "Life, the Universe, & Everything" Reading this blog may be a penance, but the only indulgence you'll get is chocolate
It's not even tick season yet!! Give awhile and I'll have some ticks for you. I usually get one stuck to me each weekend at the cabin. Such fun.
What's the deal with the spider?
Just read Sue Grafton's, T is for Trespass, and someone sent the character in the book a tarantula in the mail (in a padded envelope) but it's hard to believe the thing wouldn't have gotten totally mushed even if it had been sent in a priority box mailer!

Swiss, out here in California we have heritics all year round. Some of the blogs have advocated burning, but my spider likes them for lunch.
I'm just slow on the uptake. Now I know why they were hairy ticks, not just regular luna ticks.
